John’s professional career has included being a CPA with KPMG, a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and 30 years in the mortgage business including Executive Vice President, Retail Division for National City Mortgage when they were a top 10 national lender. Recently, John completed the requirements to become a Certified Mortgage Banker, 1 of only 8 in the state of Kentucky. John joined Commonwealth in November 2011 as Executive Vice President, Mortgage Lending. His intense focus on operational efficiency and delivery of a superior customer experience has resulted in Commonwealth realizing significant growth during his tenure. This growth has included the hiring of several large producers and enhancing the capabilities of the entire team allowing Commonwealth to becoming the 2nd largest residential lender in the Louisville market.

Pam started her career at Cowger & Miller Mortgage Company in 1988 and eventually moved on to Citizens Fidelity Bank Mortgage Division now known as PNC Bank. During her 10 years at PNC she managed a large Customer Service Call Center before becoming Vice President over the Post Closing/Release Department. After three years of loan processing and originating with Bankers Mortgage Corporation she began a new career managing the Bank Loan Operations at PRP National Bank, a community bank now known as Forcht Bank where she spent another 12 years. With her extensive mortgage experience she successfully opened a full secondary market mortgage division within the company providing a strong revenue source and expansion to the bank. In 2013 Pam joined Commonwealth Bank & Trust as Vice President of Business Development where she wears many hats working with Operations and Originations and Third Party Lending to ensure quality results for the company.
Amy started with CBandT in July 2008. Her previous work experience was focused in public accounting, finance, and corporate sales. During her tenure at CBandT, she previously served in the Corporate Finance department managing the Investment portfolio accounting, the Holding Company financials, Regulatory compliance reporting and managing multi-million dollar fundings for the Bank. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in International Business along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Sigma Beta Delta). Now as the Director of Secondary Marketing, she oversees the management of the residential mortgage pipeline, best efforts/mandatory analysis, interest rate risk, hedges, trading, pooling, loan and servicing sale executions, margin management, lock desk, investor relationships, product development and agency deliveries. Amy is actively involved in the community, as a previous board member on several private school boards (Treasurer/Athletic/Fundraising) and currently serving as a peer committee member for the Brain Recovery Project Childhood Epilepsy Surgery Foundation.
Valerie joined Commonwealth in 2012 and brings with her 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to Commonwealth, Valerie managed mortgage operations for Stock Yards Bank and was responsible for one of the largest regional processing centers for National City Mortgage. As Operations Manager, she is responsible for processing, underwriting, closing, disbursing, post-closing, quality control, systems and training. Valerie is one of those unique individuals who strikes the right balance between the needs of the sales staff while protecting the product quality we sell to investors. She is very involved with monitoring production levels and making necessary adjustments to ensure a smooth workflow at a maximum output. Valerie works closely with the mortgage sales team to ensure we can deliver on our industry leading service promise we make to everyone involved in a mortgage transaction. Put simply, if there is a way to get a loan closed and satisfy the customer, Valerie will find it.
