Carla Cooper is an HR professional with over 22 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Carla joined Commonwealth Bank & Trust as Director of Human Resources in 2013 and is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable Commonwealth Bank & Trust to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. Carla specializes in strategic planning, talent management, employee benefits, learning and development.
Carla has previously served as the Director of Human Resources for Western Restaurants, Wendy’s Restaurant Franchise, for 9 years and as a Benefits Specialist at Papa John’s International for 5 years. In these capacities, Carla was responsible for developing and implementing on-boarding, training and development, performance management, employee retention, benefits management and employee relations policies and strategies.
Carla attended and played softball at Georgetown College as an undergraduate and holds a BS in Telecommunications from The University of Kentucky.
